What is the SEDA Energy Audit Grant?

The SEDA Energy Audit Conditional Grant is a government programme that funds energy audits for commercial and industrial buildings in Malaysia. It helps you work with qualified energy specialists to find wastage and improve efficiency.

Approvals are limited and on a first‑come, first‑served basis each year.

How much can you get?

Typical funding limits (subject to SEDA’s latest rules):

• Up to RM100,000 per industrial site/account

• Up to RM60,000 per commercial site/account

If you have multiple qualifying sites, each may apply separately.

Who can apply?

You may qualify if you:

• Are in the commercial or industrial sector in Malaysia

• Own or manage the site

• Meet SEDA’s minimum annual electricity usage per site

• Engage a suitable energy specialist/ESCO as required

• Follow SEDA’s application and reporting rules
